Southeast Asia Globe is working with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung on the project “Think Next, Act Next – The Next Gen EU-ASEAN Think Tank Dialogue” (EANGAGE), which aims to encourage greater collaboration between the EU and ASEAN, inspire joint research and foster greater awareness of the EU’s engagement in the ASEAN region.
Co-funded by the European Union (EU), the two-year project was launched in 2021. The Political Dialogue Programme Asia of the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung is one of the partners for this project, together with the Asian Vision Institute (AVI), Cambodia and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV).
Since 2021, the three partners have undertaken many activities to facilitate dialogue and discussion between EU and ASEAN researchers. This includes online discussions, workshops, conferences and the preparation of collaborative research papers in the areas of security, connectivity and sustainable development. The project provides young researchers with the opportunity to network and develop a deeper understanding of EU-ASEAN cooperation.
Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is a political foundation committed to achieving and maintaining peace, freedom and justice through political education.
