“Does SCIA use international standards or benchmarks in its teaching?”
SCIA teaches the Singapore curriculum in Primary school and the Cambridge curriculum in High School.  Students sit for Cambridge Primary Checkpoint and IGCSE respectively. Whilst preparing students for the Cambridge examinations, SCIA ensures the students experience a holistic education; Cognitive, Aesthetics, Moral, Physical, Social.  Lessons are infused with 21st Century skills, ensuring readiness for the future.

“What types of technologies are being used in the classroom to promote STEM education?”
SCIA uses a myriad of technologies, incorporating appropriate technologies and digital platforms into the lessons to promote STEM education. Students use mobile devices for classroom research, teachers use the Apple TV for interactive teaching and learning, the ICT lab provides the necessary environment for ICT lessons. The exposure to different technologies equips the students to be future ready in this digital age.

How do you include and especially support children from underprivileged families in STEM education? Is there financial support for families without sufficient funds? And are there possibilities to include children with physical disabilities or with mental health issues as well?”
Whilst expensive facilities improve the understanding of STEM education, but it is not necessarily a key factor. STEM inculcates the inquiry mindset, important for the future.
