Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy welcome high school students to attend classes and get to know the syllabus. The one-day Open Classroom program will give the opportunity to students in Grade 7 – 9 to enjoy the facilities at SCIA
Students will have the chance to explore various subjects such as “Persuasive language in advertising” or Geography – Impact of water shortage on people”. The day will be filled with group activities where students will develop their interaction and negotiation skills in the Entrepreneurship class and produce one-page Business Plan and Action Bias and learn on how to implement a successful business plan.
For those interested in Biology, students will work in groups to create a model human transport system from recyclable materials. Investigate the rate of reaction involving gas evolution through Chemistry lessons or simply have a deeper understanding on Bearings and Scale Drawing through Math lessons.
Each of the subjects are designed to provide tangible ways for students and parents to learn and understand the holistic SCIA syllabus where we focus on overall excellence nurturing youth and making them future-ready.
