ANZ has announced that Mary MacLeod will be appointed CFO, International and Institutional Banking, starting in Hong Kong before moving to Melbourne
She will be responsible for the management of financial performance and regulatory reporting across ANZ’s 33 markets.
Prior to this placement, MacLeod worked in a number of senior-executive roles in global banking at Deutsche Bank throughout Asia, and was also the deputy-CEO of ICBC International Holdings, a subsidiary of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC).
“Mary’s significant international banking experience, coupled with her strong understanding of the regulatory landscape in our key areas, will bring additional strength to both our finance and IIB leadership teams,” said ANZ CFO Shayne Elliott.
In 2013, ANZ boasted profits of $6.3 billion.
