Fiona Kelliher is a freelance journalist covering various topics across Southeast Asia. She previously worked at Michigan and California newspapers including The Mercury News in San Jose. Her 2021 investigation into a Covid-19 workplace outbreak law was reviewed by the California workplace safety regulator and cited in a state Supreme Court case to stop local governments from hiding outbreak details. Her work has earned awards from the California News Publishers Association, the Society of Professional Journalists and National Association of Real Estate Editors.
