The 2017 Cambodia International Business Summit will feature breakout sessions and speeches offering advice for doing business in the exciting emerging market
An upcoming business conference in Phnom Penh promises to provide insights into the growing economy of Cambodia, an emerging market that has seen its GDP grow by roughly 7% in recent years.
The 2017 Cambodia International Business Summit, to be held at Phnom Penh’s Hotel Intercontinental from 14-15 February, will see entrepreneurs, business leaders and government representatives gather to discuss strategies for doing business in Cambodia.
Speakers will include Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, chairman of the World Travel & Tourism Council Gerald Lawless and Cambodian minister of commerce Pan Sorasak.
Bretton Sciaroni, chairman of the International Business Chamber of Cambodia, the group organising the conference, said that the event aimed to show investors “what an attractive investment environment Cambodia is”.
“To do that,” he added, “we’ve assembled a group of both government people in the relevant sectors and also business people that do business here on the ground and that can tell foreign investors exactly the realities of doing investment, doing business in Cambodia.”
